You Feel It In The Crowd
Once again, I was found at multiple soccer games photographing some of the action but mostly the fans and their reactions. Here are two of my favorite images. (I think you can tell that Scott gets his emotional faces from his mother, Peggy.)
Scott Converse holds his breath and intensely watches his son, Jackson Converse, play men's varsity soccer for the Honeoye-Falls Lima Cougars against the Rush Henrietta Royal Comets in Honeoye-Falls, NY on Oct. 7, 2013. When asked how his son has done this season, Scott jokes, "he has his moments."
Peggy Converse watches anxiously as her grandson, Jackson Converse, plays men's varsity soccer for the Honeoye-Falls Lima Cougars against the Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets in Honeoye-Falls, NY on Oct. 7, 2013. "Keep the pressure on white! Come on white! Oh lordy lordy," Peggy screams while watching the game.

Take Me Back
I seem to enjoy photographing high school events more that I have graduated. However, watching the bond that forms between all of the people during a major football game like this one is really moving.
I submitted both images to Rochester Institute of Technology's National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), and the bottom image won an Honorable Mention.
Josh Long is taken out as wide receiver for the Fairport Raiders on Oct. 5, 2013 in Fairport, NY. "Come on guys!" Josh screams from the sidelines as the Raiders continue to lose their last home game to the Rush Henrietta Royal Comets.
Mike Bowman, right, grabs the helmet of Kyle Schreiner, defensive tackle for the Fairport Raiders, and gives Kyle advice before he goes back on the field against the Rush Henrietta Royal Comets. "Just focus and hit him."

The Owners Of The Inn
I photographed a couple who owns a bed and breakfast that I stayed at last year for my photojournalism class. They were so fun and had such great personalities.

Where Are You
Last night during Multimedia, we were given the task to edit 15 clips into 1 piece. The clips were all taken at the Rochester Public Market. The parameters were that it had to be between 1:30-3 minutes long. We had about an hour and a half to edit the clips into a story.
This is what I made. The picture is my own and wasn't apart of our assignment.

Jewishly
I am taking Multimedia 1, and it is by far my favorite class that I am taking this semester. I feel that I know what I am doing when I am in that class. I enjoy audio and the sound of voices. I have always been mesmerized by the sounds of peoples' voices.
Below is an interview I recorded for an exercise for class.

Rough
Today we had critique for our assignment about photographing 3 environmental portraits. As a class, it was an extremely upsetting, emotional, and draining experience. Everyone did poorly, and we were consistently told that we need to work hard and be better. I'm trying, but it seems that I'm not trying hard enough.

Try Harder
Our assignment was to photograph an arms length away as well as a dog's eye view (no more than 2 feet off the ground). These are the images I made.
